Lee Sjostrom

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer

Lee Sjostrom currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of RSUI. Lee’s attention to detail and deep understanding of business operations allow him to push forward key initiatives. He brings over 30 years of experience in financial management and insurance.

Before joining RSUI in 2003, Lee held financial management positions with Voya and Assurant. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta, focusing on the financial services industry.

Lee is active in WSIA, where he serves on the PAC Committee. He is a licensed CPA and holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He is also a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the College of William and Mary.

He serves as Board President of the City of Hope National Insurance Industry Council and Board Treasurer of the Atlanta Area Council of Scouting America, and is actively involved in additional industry and community organizations.

Known for bringing a sense of humor to RSUI, he is often the first to lean into a themed event or company celebration.
